Where Machine Data Capture Systems fits
Machine-data capture is the acquisition and normalisation layer. It reads or receives machine states, counters and events, timestamps them correctly, adds line or asset context, handles communication failures and stores a usable SQL history. Operator screens may be included where human confirmation is required, but OEE calculations and management dashboards are secondary outputs. Choose this service when the immediate problem is that reliable machine history does not yet exist.
Start with the machine or signal list, the available interface such as OPC UA or an API, and the exact event history the business needs.
